An estate set high above Provence's "village in the sky," privatised in its entirely for a single wedding at a time. A table signed by Pavillon Traiteur, now the estate's exclusive caterer.
This alliance brings together two houses of Groupe Pavillon around a shared vision of luxury: time, discretion, and the freedom to create without constraint. It is intended for planners who design singular wedding experience for their clients, far from the familiar circuits of the Riviera.
A bastide suspended between sky and hills
Ten acres of parkland, a round tower, honey-coloured stone façades and cypress-lined avenues opening onto the horizon of the Var. On a clear day, the view sweeps across the Massif des Maures, the Estérel and the Sainte-Baume.
La Bastide is in no way a function venue. It is a residence, in the noblest sense of the word. Its salons and bedrooms, each with a style of its own, carry the memory of its owners' travels, interwoven with the Provençal art of living. Guests are not received here; they stay, as they would with friends whose taste they admire.
At the gateway to the Gorges du Verdon, the estate naturally extends the celebration into a journey. Hilltop villages, turquoise lakes, markets and vineyards, everything needed to compose, for guests arriving all over the world, a weekend that feels like a world apart.

La Bastide de Tourtour is never shared. Each wedding is held on an exclusive-use basis, over a minimum of three days and two nights: the 23 bedrooms, the salons, the grounds, the spa and the helipad are reserved solely for the couple's guests.
This unhurried rhythm transforms the very nature of the celebration into a complete experience. On the eve, everyone gathers for a welcome dinner. The wedding day itself unfolds without transfers or time constraints. The following day, the celebration continues in an intimate setting, before a gentle departure.
At the heart of the reception area, L'Orangeraie, with its tall glass doors opening onto the gardens, seats up to 90 guests. For larger celebrations, our teams work with the planner on a bespoke configuration.
Winter and the shoulder seasons: the true luxury of Provence
The estate hosts weddings from late September to June. A deliberate choice: it is outside the summer months that Provence reveals its rarest face.
Autumn casts low, copper-toned light across the hills. Winter brings a sky of striking clarity, crackling fires, candlelit dinners and the unique possibility of a wedding in a hilltop village almost entirely to oneself. Spring brings the gardens back into bloom, with ideal temperatures for outdoor ceremonies.
For a planner, these seasons are a powerful narrative asset. They allow for worlds that summer does not: velvet and burnished wood, truffle and game, winter tables dressed in heavy linen and foliage. They also ensure supplier availability and a sense of calm that July weekends on the Côte d'Azur can no longer offer.
A blank canvas for creatives
Because the estate is entirely privatized, every space becomes a canvas for expression. This is perhaps what most sets La Bastide apart: here, the venue does not impose its style, it welcomes it.
Bedrooms as stages. Each of the 23 bedrooms can be given its own dedicated production: personalised welcome, floral design, signature linens and fragrances, guest gifts, a stay journal in each guest's name. The bridal suite, the witnesses' room or the parents' room can each receive a singular treatment.
Spaces transformed from end to end. L'Orangeraie, the salons, the terrace, the grounds and their avenues lend themselves to in-depth personalisation. Florists, set designers, lighting designers, musicians and furniture makers are free to work as they wish, with evey space dedicated to a single celebration.
A continuous narrative. From arrival on the helipad to the final morning's brunch, the planner has three days and an entire estate in which to unfold a coherent world. Our teams support this creation process from the very first site visit: technical requirements, guest flows, access, wet-weather contingency and coordination with the hotel.
Pavillon Traiteur, the estate's exclusive table
All food and beverage is entrusted to Pavillon Traiteur : welcome dinner, breakfasts, post-ceremony cocktail reception, plated wedding dinner and the next-day brunch. Every culinary moment of the stay bears a single signature.
This exclusivity is a guarantee for the planner. Our teams know the estate intimately, its service kitchen, its flows, its light. They work there as if at home, in direct coordination with the hotel. A single point of contact, seamless logistics, no visible seams.
Our cuisine begins with the finest Provençal produce, carefully selected and prepared in step with the seasons. In winter, it becomes more generous; in spring, brighter and more plant-forward. Service, precise and discreet, steps back to the let emotion of the day take centre stage.
Planners and couples are welcomed to our culinary laboratory in Mouans-Sartoux for a comprehensive tasting: menus, food and wine pairings, tableware, staff attire, scenography and flowers. Certified ISO 20121, we design every reception within a responsible event management approach.
Arriving by air, preparing in serenity
Beyond its setting, the estate offers a set of rare features that shape every moment of the guest experience. A private helipad on the grounds. Some thirty minutes' flight from Nice, Cannes or Monaco, the most anticipated guests land directly on the estate. No traffic, no distance: a memorable arrival, in complete discretion, that sets the tone from the very first moments. For an international clientele, it also means the estate can be reached from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport without taking the road.
A 350 m² spa in which to prepare. Before the ceremony, the Sothys Spa offers the couple and their guests a moment suspended in time: three treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi, hammam, laconium, as well as a panoramic sauna and a Nordic bath facing the hills. A treatment on the eve, a swim on the morning of the wedding: the perfect way to approach the big day with a light heart.
