Fabrice Lavergne elected President of LINKEUS

Fabrice LAVERGNE, President of Pavillon Traiteur, has just been elected President of LINKEUS, the provence-alpes-côte d'azur convention bureau


Officially taking office following the General Assembly held on Tuesday, June 13th 2023, at Château de la Napoule in Mandelieu-La-Napoule, Fabrice Lavergne succeeds Pierre-Louis Roucariès, President of LINKEUS since 2011 and Managing Director of the Mandelieu-La Napoule Tourist and Convention Office.


Lasting 3 years, this new presidency comes with a newly elected Board of Directors made up of 20 members*, drawn from 5 colleges representing the different professions of business tourism across the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.


For Fabrice Lavergne, LINKEUS's new President, said: “ In taking over as President of LINKEUS, I fully recognize the responsibility that comes with the role. I'm aware of the remarkable legacy Pierre-Louis Roucariès leaves behind, and I am committed to carrying forward the vision he built, with unwavering determination. I will strive to uphold the values of integrity, innovation, and collaboration that are so important to us, while bringing my own personal touch to help our association move toward new horizons.”

A NEW TERM built around 9 PRIORITIES

While staying tue to LINKEUS's core identity, Fabrice Lavergne will structure his term around 9 key priorities:


  1. Identify 30% more national and international event projects for the region

  2. Bring together more events professionals, reaching 300 members by 2025

  3. Commit to a sustainable, resilient economic development strategy, encouraging professionals to pursue certification/labelling

  4. Support the growth of the sector's SMEs through promotion, training, and acceleration, helping their teams make full use of the region's "destination" appeal

  5. Boost the region's event offering by encouraging the adoption of innovation through start-up incubation

  6. Reach a 75/25 balance between public funding and commercial revenue

  7. Adapt the association's internal organization to meet these new objectives

  8. Implement the ethical and responsible charter for fair, balanced relationships between all stakeholders

  9. Communicate both on the results generated by LINKEUS's actions and on the achievements of its member professionals
